Sustainability can seem like a meaningless buzzword but at Wines and Company, we know that doing well for the environment and consumers also makes good economic sense.

40% of the carbon footprint of a wine is the bottle. By choosing only lightweight bottles, we ensure that we deliver what really matters: wine not glass. These bottles use less raw materials and require less energy to produce. The weight of our shipments is lower, which in turn optimizes transportation costs.

Whenever possible, we use 100% recycled aluminum screw caps instead of chemical- and glue-laden cork. Our cardboard boxes and dividers are also 100% recyclable.

We only partner with suppliers who have the required quality and safety certifications and are located close to our production centres. This allows us to support the local economies while also lowering our fuel emissions and transportation costs, resulting in a better price for consumers.

Our commitment is to make our wines vegan at a minimum, and organic when feasible.
